We are the pre-Chapter of LCLAA for Alameda and Contra Costa Central Labor Councils.

Since its creation in 1972, LCLAA has been a grassroots organization directed by Latino labor leaders who use unionization as a vehicle to secure rights and job protections. LCLAA has been committed to the growth and progress of the labor movement and the Latino community. Through the relentless work of LCLAA’s chapters and leaders, this organization has played a major role in the election of Latinos at all levels of government. Many of LCLAA’s battles have begun in the streets or the halls of Congress, in a struggle to press for social, economic and labor justice.
